Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions
 

  • Slice flank steak against the grain into thin strips.
  • Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch.
  • Stir fry broccoli in hot oil for 2-3 minutes, remove.
  • Sear beef in the same pan until browned.
  • Add sauce and broccoli back to pan, toss until thickened.

Notes

Slice beef against the grain for maximum tenderness.
