Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 slices bread, cubed (about 4 cups)
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain fat.
  • Place bread cubes in the baking dish. Top with sausage and 1 cup of cheese.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Pour over the bread mixture.
  • Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Cool slightly before serving.
