Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes
  • 8 oz tomato sauce

Instructions
 

  • Brown ground beef in a large pot. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onions and peppers; cook until soft. Stir in garlic and spices.
  • Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beans. Bring to a simmer.
  • Cook on low heat for at least 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot with cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
