Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup wild rice blend (uncooked)
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 large carrots, diced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 0.33 cup flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp poultry seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Sauté onion, carrots, and celery in butter until soft. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Whisk in chicken broth. Add wild rice and spices.
  • Simmer covered for 40-50 minutes until rice is tender.
  • Stir in shredded chicken and heavy cream. Heat through for 5 minutes. Serve.
