Yield:
4 Servings

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened

1 cup heavy cream

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

2 tablespoons grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Directions

1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the chicken breasts and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

3
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, sprinkle the minced garlic over the butter and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.

4
Bring the cream mixture to a simmer and let cook for 2-3 minutes, or until slightly thickened. Stir in the chopped parsley and grated cheddar cheese (if using).

5
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and spoon some of the cream sauce over the top of each breast. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully coated in the sauce.

Storage & Reheating

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply place the chicken and sauce in a skillet over low heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Alternatively, you can reheat in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each interval, until hot and steamy. Enjoy!
